Classic Pieces When Starting Fresh

There are a lot of people in my life who are moving/ have moved within the last 6 months. Whether it's due to a growing family, new city, newly single, new life chapter or they're just ready for some change, I wanted to compile some of my personal go-tos I use when furnishing a home.

Like your wardrobe, once you have the good quality, staple pieces, you can really let your personality shine through with what are often, less expensive, accessories and textiles. Invest in quality, classic pieces and your home will withstand the trends of time. And save you a ton of money in the long run!

The items featured below were selected for their quality, classic silhouettes, natural materials and ability to transcend decades. It's these elements that allow you to achieve a warm, layered look comprised of timeless materials. The most interesting homes are filled with a life long collection of curated items that have some connection to the owner. So as tempting as it may be, don't run to HomeGoods or Target to simply fill your space. Take your time building a collection of items that have meaning and purpose to you and your family. I promise, it is always worth the wait!
